The Infection Control Workshop is accredited with the Dental Board of Victoria and Dental Board of ACT.

PRACTICAL & FLEXIBLY DELIVERED INFECTION CONTROL WORKSHOPS.

Either delivered at our training facility or at your practice!

• A practical hands on program for all dentists and staff
• CPD points approved for up to a 4 hour program
• Operational training manual for all participants
• Based on the requirements of AS/NZS 4815:2006

The workshop is held between 4-5 hours and covers the following topics:-

• Introduction
• Effective Hand Washing
• Personal Protection
• Cleaning and Maintaining Work Areas
• Waste Management
• Adopting National Standard Precautions for Sterilising and Disinfection Equipment that is to be reused
• Minimising Risk
• Adopting Occupational Health & Safety Procedures in the Workplace
